Sylvia Kohler is a Registered Nurse who spent time volunteering at Hopital Adventiste in April of this year. The excerpt below is from her blog A Story of Haiti. As I traveled to the airport past the rubble and devastation, the enormity of the need and unimaginable loss was overwhelming. And I could not help but wonder about the road ahead for the people of Haiti. Mother Teresa’s words came to mind; “We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.”
