Erin Wiltshire, PT, Arrives Safely At HAH

Erin Wiltshire is a Physical Therapist with Arrowhead Orthopaedics in Redlands, CA.  She left Southern California yesterday with a colleague, Kelli DeBooy, and will be serving one week.  She is pictured below with some of the equipment and supplies that we loaded her up with.  She was kind enough to send the note below informing us of her safe arrival.
We wanted to let you know that we got here safe and give you a little update on what is going on in Haiti.  Flight went well but had a crazy bus ride here to the Hopital Adventiste d'Haiti.
Today we woke up and went to church this morning.  We then spent the remainder of our time in the outside tent area working with two Haitian trained therapists.  Most of our patients had ex fix's so we would range them and give them strengthening exercises and gait training with the varying assistive devices.  The patients here are motivated and up and ready to go when they see us coming.  We ambulated a 53 year old obese lady with an AKA over 100 feet and not once did she complain.  You don't see that in the states.
The food has been good but unfortunately this is the last day for the food from the supreme master chefs.  We are very sad to see them go and are not sure where or what are meals will be.

We will keep in touch as the week goes on.
